Welcome to 2018

Arnold Bennett:

“The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you, as perfect, as unspoiled, as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You can turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose.”

As one year ends, so another year begins. Practical Law has been reflecting on events in 2017 and looking forward to 2018.

The end of 2017…

We summarised our view of the cases from 2017 that may impact the most on construction practitioners in our quarterly case reviews:

Practical Law Dispute Resolution has written about the litigation top ten tips and Practical Law Arbitration has written about arbitration’s top ten English cases.

…and the start of 2018

There is plenty for construction practitioners to look forward to in 2018. While Brexit is likely to dominate headlines, we still have an A to Z of change to look forward to over the next 12 months. We have identified the key construction events in the coming year.

We hope you had a relaxing festive break because 2018 promises to be another busy year.
