Say hello to the “twenty tens”, wave goodbye to the “noughties”

As TS Eliot wrote (in Little Gidding):

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.”

As one year ends, so another year (and another decade) begins. PLC Construction has been reflecting on events in 2009 and looking forward to 2010.

Waving goodbye to 2009

We have summarised our thoughts on last year’s important construction law developments in a Blog post, Cases and developments in construction law: 2009. To see the highlights from PLC Dispute Resolution, see Practice note, Top ten tips from 2009.

Saying hello to 2010

There is plenty for construction practitioners to look forward to in 2010. From appeals against the OFT’s bid-rigging decisions to zero-carbon non-domestic buildings, the industry faces an A to Z of change over the next 12 months. We have identified the hot topics for the coming year in our Legal update, Looking forward to 2010.

Other PLC services have done the same, see:

We hope you had a relaxing festive break, because 2010 promises to be busy. Happy new year!
